Today, we are living under the risk of climate change, in a rapidly evolving global situation! Due to increased environmental pollutants, weather patterns are changing. This is leading to shift and intensify seasons. Effects of this are more obvious at Poles than other parts of the World. Also, due to the albedo effect, environmental pollutants from Arctic has 1.5 times higher climate impact per ton of emission than the global average. Arctic has therefore a role to play to minimize the climate risks!
Firstly, Arctic industrial and services infrastructure, must protect their products, systems, and installations, from winter weather variations. And secondly, they are required to innovate, to reduce their carbon, black carbon, and environmental footprints, for a greener and sustainable planet. But this is quite challenging, because Arctic business infra-structure is currently relatively small with limited resources, particularly due to small business market. Arctic industrial and services infra-structure therefore need collaborating (and supportive) highly skilled industrial partners with both time and resources to collaborate in innovation and winterization of their products, systems, and installations.
Arctic Experts AS is therefore established to fill the emerging needs of Arctic Industry. We want to facilitate sustainable research and development in the Arctic, by focusing on blue and green innovation. Our focus is on the current and future challenges in the Arctic in relation to climate, environmental, and other changes and challenges. We do this by providing the following services:
We are providing winterization consultancy services in the areas related to ice and snow accumulations, icing and ice prevention methodologies and system, minimizing icing related problems on power lines, icing related challenges on on-shore, and offshore vessels and installations, and other cold climate challenges. We have an expert panel of consultants. We are also working on the 24/7 real time icing monitoring services for both onshore and offshore vessels and structures.
We are also providing consultancy in digital twinning, IoT based solutions, socio-economic and socio-technical analysis, life cycle carbon footprint analysis (LCA), CFD analysis, 2D/3D mechanical design (CAD), and multiphysics analysis.
This service aims to develop innovative technology solutions for sustainable growth in the Arctic. We do this by writing joint business and research proposals, in collaboration with both public and private sector organizations and companies. After we get funding we hire expert teams who then develop technology solutions with the collaborators. We also get engaged in commercialization through our Arctic Business Network Service. Our EU PIC Code is 893532088.
We envision to collaborate with both public sector and private sector organization and companies, to create an environment where innovation becomes a business as-usual activity. We want to democratize innovation which means that an atmosphere shall be created in an organization where smart supplier can actually supplement the smart people in an organization.
As an output we collaborate with public and private companies and institutions to register subsidiary companies.
