We understand that we can only be sustainable by generating measurable long-term social and environmental development benefits. For this reason, we work across the full range of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and have a specific commitment to seven SDGs to contribute to achieve a self sustainabable arctic society. This includes:
SDG6: Clean water and sanitation;
SDG7: Affordable and clean energy;
SDG9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure;
SDG11: Sustainable cities and communities;
SDG13: Climate Action;
SDG14: Life below water; and
SDG17: Partnerships for the goals. We use these goals as our ambition.
We understand that we have Corporate social responsibility (CSR), hence we are socially accountable — to our self, our stakeholders, and the public. We therefore operate in ways that enhance society and the environment, by making sure that our projects have low carbon footprint in the normal course of our business. We invest our profit in different climate awareness programs and initiatives.
